I just did a new build for better Vegas editing.
Intel i7 quad core, 32 gig of RAM, GeForce GTX 560., Asus P8Z77-V LE motherboard
When I load Vegas 11 AND Beta 12, the program freezes at “Initiating GPU Accelerated Video Proccesing.”
Removed video card and just used on-board video and it worked. Would freeze on rendering. Disabled GPU processing and all was fine.

Changed out card to my older ATI Radeon HD 4650 and it would freeze again at start up at “Initiating GPU Accelerated Video Proccesing.”

Do I need another Graphics Card? Thanks for your help – this is really frustrating because I have some work deadlines and I’m getting really stressed out.
