New Imac5k has DCI-P3 display
Posted by Matt Harris on October 14, 2015 at 3:33 pmI don’t know what DCI-P3 means. Can anyone comment what this does for grading in resolve?

It allows the monitor to display a wider gamut of colors. See also this concurrent post in the FCPX Debate forum: https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/335/84692

October 16, 2015 at 12:34 pmThe viewer in Resolve isn’t as accurate as a proper monitoring solution so it won’t help that much. Also I would wait until someone profiles the monitor to see how accurate it actually is.
