I put a Maxtor 500 gb drive into an AMS Venus DS3 (my fourth such enclosure, and second with the Maxtor 500 gb).

When I copied from my internal MacPro RAID, I got error messages, several times. The latest is Error -36, data could not be read or written. I’ve used different data on the RAID each time.

Disk Warrior reported about 95 out of 230 entries out of order, but nothing more specific.

Do I have a bad drive? How do I test it, or have I just done that?

    Thanks.
