new font style used in the young and the restless
Posted by Tonycity on May 13, 2005 at 8:12 pmDoes anyone know how I can create the font style used in the opening credits for the young and the resteless? Is it even done in LiveType?

I don’t think a lot of us watch that show, you’d have to post a link of some kind. I for one am neither young nor restless.

Any ideas out there?

Sorry, couldn’t resist. Tell you what, I have a TV in my office, if I can catch the show I’ll take a look…

Sonofa, it was 5 to 11 when I looked at the TV guide, and Y and the R came on at 11!
The credits over the beginning are in the Clarendon family. The show titles in red are a san-serif italic that is kinda stylized, never seen it before. I had my camera set up and I got a shot of it. It’s not very clear, but it’s something. Shoot me an e-mail and I’ll send you a pdf of it..
