New error message when FCPX stops autosaving?
Not seen this before. I was a little too quick on a Shift Z whilst repositioning keyframes and got this error message.
I’ve just tried the same steps in 10.0.9 and it knocks out the autosave but no error message.
Now we get a warning when the autosave feature stops working??10.1 & 10.9.1

I was getting these messages often in early versions of 10.0
I haven’t seen the in a long time. A quit and relaunch usually fixed it for a long while.
Are you using local storage or something else?

I’ve had this message a few times now.
I have 3 drives connected to my iMac at the moment, a 8TB Thunderbolt GTech drive and 2 4TB Gtechs connected via the LaCie TB eSats hub.
But what is causing the problem is unknown. It’s that old old problem where CMD Z also stops working. What’s good about the message which basically is a force quit is that one doesn’t go on for ages without knowing about the problem.
So thanks to Apple for this error message that let me know about this problem with their software.
The next step will be to fix it.

Just noodling about with the new features on my MBP.
I’ve used X on shared and local storage over the last couple of years
and can never remember seeing that message. I have definitely experienced the loss of autosave though.
Excellent if it’s now flagged up and forces a quit before any serious amount of work gets lost.
