“New Composition from Selection” with Sequence Layers – frame base seems stuck at 30 fps?
My subject line kind of says it all.
Even though all my preferences are set to 24 fps, even though the most recent new composition I created was 24 fps, when I use the “New Composition From Selection” feature with sequence layers and enter a time for the layer, it says “base 30.”
If I enter 2 frames, I get a 24 fps composition but the layers are a bit less than 2 frames (presumably 1/15 of a second at 24 fps.)
This is a bit maddening. Anyone know how to get this feature to just work in base 24 fps?

Welll, the world has changed a lot since your question. But you can set time base settings on File>Project Settings>Time Display Style tab – “default Base” setting.
