  New Business Strategy outside Soho

  Hi There

  I’m setting up a little vfx/design studio on my own outside soho, …why? because i have the high end kit, I have a building, I have 20 years experience as a VFX artist, I dont have any regular or guaranteed clients for my studio yet, so i need to get started.

  I’m 1hour tube away from soho, and I have found a few local post/production houses that are a 10-15 minute drive from me, but still no guarantees, I’m over 40 and im not fussed about the type of work i get, i do hope to get some film/drama work, and any other type of visuals such as concert visuals. This where I intend to work until I retire, its all I know and I dont see any other way forward for me, for family reasons.

  Should i find a business advisor or a producer?

  Where do I start to find work??

  Any advice would be appreciated
