  New Build Questions

  I’m building a new (entry to mid-level) system and trying to decide between the following basic options:
  1. Asus P8PP67 Pro/2600/16gb ram/GTX570
  2. Asus P6X58D-E/i7-960/24gb ram/GTX570
  The Sandy Bridge P67 platform is apparently a better performer, but there are concerns that PCIe sharing would reduce performance when adding additional PCIe cards.
  The X58 platform is a lesser performer and is somewhat less compromised by PCIe sharing issue. Currently it also has more upgrade path than the P67.
