January 30, 2013 at 11:49 pmAVI’s are generally massive files at 1080i. Under “Video Format” in the AVI render options what do you have selected? And what used to allow bitrate selection in AVI, because I don’t see anything in 11 that did.

January 31, 2013 at 1:43 amOoops… sorry – my mistake.
I was thinking it was AVI but in fact I was rendering as WMV before.
I wasn’t able to edit my post as it was my first on this forum and was awaiting moderation.…But thanks for your reply.

WMV has a separate Bitrate tab unlike the other templates that have the bitrate on the Video tab. Are you saying that the Bitrate tab doesn’t exist on your installation?

January 31, 2013 at 4:33 pmNO… I normally render to WMV but selected AVI by mistake (which doesn’t have the bitrate tab). I was shocked how much space my short video took and was looking for a way to reduce the size in the absence of the bitrate tab.
I realized my mistake after I made my post, but it was too late to delete the post because it was awaiting moderation. -
