Tried running two archives on the new 3.1.23 rel and froze both times immediately upon hitting “start archive” so I thought I’d give some restores a shot–only to see this

Never seen that before! Anyone else having the same issue? Am I doing something wrong?

Exact same behaviour here after updating.

Verifies still working from the command line.

The team is working on this.

Are both of you running on 10.11.6 by any chance?

In the meantime, you can skip authenticating at the start and it will run in your user’s space. This will work unless you’re actually trying to backup and restore your system volume (which requires authentication).

Skipping authenticating worked a treat, thanks Tim.

    On 10.10.5 here.

    Cheers

    Hi Guys,

3.1.23 build 357 is now posted on the download site. It was a bad header file pointing to the wrong API …
