New AVC Intra Encoder for Compressor
Panasonic quietly released a new Quicktime plugin for encoding AVC Intra back to a P2 card.
Works like a charm on my MBP 2.53, and it’s great not to need deck or video card to output back to P2.

Very, very interesting.
MXF4mac also adds this capability straight from the FCP timeline > P2 Card with no recompressing as they also have an AVC-Intra Encoder that you can use right in FCP.
Also, it seems this compressor plug-in doesn’t support clusters.
