June 1, 2012 at 5:52 pmI felt the same way, believe me. But I knew I was going to have to install the drivers so I was mentally prepared for that. Also you need to tell Lion to display the Library folder, which is easy. No other big deals.

June 1, 2012 at 7:42 pmOn my Mac Pro 2010 5,1 I have set up a Lion 10.7.4 boot drive with CS6 and my other applications on it. Am using it for the new AJA driver/Adobe plug for CS 6 with Transmit. It is working very well in playback tests. Still have CS6 on another 10.6.8 boot drive. Will probably keep it that way until everything shakes out. Still have software that is not ready for Lion on the 10.6.8. drive including some Rosetta stuff. Lion seems to be working OK so far, but I haven’t really pushed anything on it yet or tested plug-ins.

June 4, 2012 at 2:41 pmAnyone know if there are any plans to include SpeedGrade in the AJA Kona3 future?
Sent an email to support; waiting for a reply. As it stands, CS6, FCP3, under Lion with a Kona3 yields no analog monitoring ability for color grading as follows:
SpeedGrade – SDI out only so far ( forever? via graphics cards only? )
Apple Color – external monitoring broken under Lion
DaVinci Resolve – unsupported by AJAThis leaves me with a brand new 12-core workstation with no grading monitoring ability : (
I’m not even sure if upgrading my monitor engine to the SDI module would work for SpeedGrade.
Apple Color wasn’t supposed to break – in fact, the ProApps tech support guy said that it was the first he’d heard of it.Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.
