*NEW* AJA Io LA and Io LD Apple Qualified!
Hi-
I am extremely pleased to announce that the Io LA and Io LD are now Apple Qualified for Final Cut Pro 5! This is in addition to the Io, which was the first capture device to be Qualified for FCP5.
The Io LA was Qualified with the current 2.1 driver, and 4-8 firmware. The Io LD was Qualified with the 2.1 driver, and version 3-5 firmware. Io software and support information can be found here:

My mistake. I am reffering to using the IO as a stand alone Core audio compliant IO interface. Are you statiing this has been available all along?

Currently the Io’s do not have Core Audio functionality.

Something I’ve been wondering for a while:
I understand that the Io isn’t a Core Audio device but will it “play well” on systems where Core Audio devices (e.g. an MBox) may be present? Can I safely configure AfterEffects to use the Io for video playback only and Core Audio for audio playback?
