Has anyone upgrade to 6.0 yet? Is it definitely stable? I’d like to upgrade so I don’t have to reboot my Mac every time I plug in/out the Io, but I’m just a bit hesitant to change something that is fundamentally working…

I can say this is probably the biggest update the ioHD has received since the release, no problems here…..yet (running OS X Leopard)

We were having SERIOUS audio/video sync issues when ingesting standard definition video from a Sony M25-U HDV deck via the HDMI ports. I did the upgrade and ingested about 5-6 clips as a test, and everything worked fine….audio and video were in sync.

did you make sure to Update the firmware in the IoHD also?

there was a firmware updater that had to be run to complete the Updating process.

I’ve got a ton of 1080i 60 PRHQ. Anyone transcode yet to 1080p 30? How about anyone capturing 1080P 30?

We are getting audio only thru HDMI with version 6.1.

No Video sync light. Flickers for a moment with deck power on and then
    nothing.

How do you have the M25-U and IO set up?

    thanks

    Will,

Pretty simple on my end. We are taking HDMI out of the M25U and going HDMI in to the Io box. Please don’t let me insult you with this, but did you check the “inputs” tab in the Io Control Panel to make sure you have selected the HDMI video input? You must select HDMI for both audio and video.

I can’t remember if there is anything I did to the menus in the M25U, so look through those to see if there is anything that needs tweaking.

    No insult taken. 🙂

    It just isn’t showing up.

HDMI in and HDMI “Audio Input” are both selected in IOHD
control panel but have red bars and “No Video” next
    to the input.

On the third HDMI cable and still no luck.

Weird thing is it worked once….then quit.
We converted a 30 minute show from DV to
BetaSP without a hiccup, and then just quick
    recognizing again.

    Really strange!
