new after effects
Hey I was wondering if anyone had heard anything about a new version of after effects coming out any time soon. I think that it has almost been a year since 6.5 came out. This is just a shot in the dark, so any help would be apreciated. Thanks again.

I don’t have any specific info, but have heard some talk and also saw a post here very recently on that subject. With that said, note that there has often been several years between major releases of AE, although AE has never had ‘competition’ before.
Just my 2 cents as an AE user since version 3, but based on my experiences, I’ve made it my standard practice to never install a dot-zero release of AE on my primary system. So, I plan to wait for 7.5, unless I have a spare computer available at the time to test 7.0 on.
Anyone else?
