Networked macs connections
I’ve connected from my laptop to my G4 for years until recently. In the past when I go through the network window, I see the computer, I type in the password and I get a choice of the 5 drives available on the G4. Yesterday for some reason now when I enter I can only see the user level on the G4 and none of the drives.
Not sure what may be different. Any ideas from anyone would be appreciated.

Make sure you’re using your G4’s Admin name and password to login with. Repair your permissions using Disk Utility.
