Running OSX 10.3.9 and just did clean install. Yesterday, everything worked fine. Today, went to check network preferences and now it won’t open. I go to system preferences, click on network and it gives me the error message “Preferences Error Could Not Load Network.” I go to the network utility and it gives me the error message “One or more components of Network Utility are missing. Please install the BSD package from the Mac OS X install CD in order to utilize the missing functionality.” I installed everything from the disk and still nothing even after shutting down. Any suggestions? I’m guessing reinstall. Thanks in advance.

Try running disk utility, both repair permissions, and restart off of the disc and run the repair disc option, and see if that helps. If not, if you haven’t moved all your data back yet re-install the system. Also think back what you installed the day before it stopped working.

    Best of luck
