Net render with Sketch & Toon
I am having trouble getting S&T to work with net render. On the client I installed the application, the modules and net render from the R10 dvd. The manual is unclear on whether I should install R10 on the client in addition to net render and the modules. It just says to choose the package from the installer and follow the instructions. I’m not usually this obtuse but I must be missing something.

Should be no problem. Just install net render and the modules and then input your serials when you launch the client. No need to install the rest of C4D.

After installing net render and the modules on the client, I hit ‘personalize’ in the client menu but there were no spaces to input the serials. The form was not resizable and just said ‘Registration’ with the ok and cancel buttons.

That’s strange. The client should ask you for the serials the first time you start it.

Even stranger, it now works! They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Does that mean windows users are insane? I didn’t change a thing, didn’t install the serials and was able to render the S&T post effect. Tomorrow I’ll try mocca, hopefully it wasn’t just dumb luck.
