Net Render problems.
Hi there, I am having a few problems with my render farm setup utilising Net Render. I am running the Net Render Server and one Client off of my machine and In my workplace are 7 machines used by various people all running the Client. Throughout the day they need to quit Net Render Client if their machine is slowing down at all.
The problem is when I try to get them up and running again on the existing job and altho they show up again on the Client list on the server most of them decide not to work ie produce any frames. Some of them say ‘waiting’ and some of them say ‘running’ but nothing is produced.
I have read elsewhere that you need to quit the server from time to time which I have done but it seems the more I quit the less machines ‘come online’ afterwards.
As the job has progressed more and more machines have gone offline to the extent now that no rendering is happening at all.
Any help greatly appreciated.
