Net Render over internet: solution?
So, Scott Jones was having a conversation about rendering with Net Render over the internet, but I haven’t seen a follow-up.
Is it possible to install NetRender (client) on my wife’s computer at work and have it chew away on my project at night?
Or, has anyone invented that crowd-sourcing solution where we all can offer up our spare cpu cycles to the masses and likewise tap into it when we’ve got a project? Please tell me someone’s invented the crowd-farm!

I’m using it on all the spare computers in the house, just sitting there doing nothing… works great. Not sure how you get it to work over the open internet however, but as long as you can give the clients a reachable IP for the server, you should be good to go.
