If I have 10 layers in a sequence and want to nest five of them, do I have to create a new sequence and drag the five layers into the new sequence then drag the new sequence back into the original sequence? Seems a bit clunky if this is the only way. Why wouldn’t it be designed to work like sub comps in AE?
    Hopefully there is another way.
    Cheers

I believe that may be the only way, no shortcut that I know of.

I just do a shift + track select tool to select all the tracks I need, then copy and paste in a new sequence.

It is clunky… unless somebody comes up with that miraculous workaround.
