I set a clip to nest and applied warp stabilize. I got a message stating warp stabilizer needs dimensions to solve nest footage……

I added warp stabilizer to the nested timeline. I keep deleting and creating new nesting. this time it nested footage and shows in green in original sequence but not the new sequence that is suppose to be nested.

Warp Stabilizer can be a peculiar animal. I will usually isolate the shots I want to stabilize, render the individual shots to see if I like the result, then export to a non-lossy codec so the effect is “baked in”. I’ll import those “baked-in” shots to my project and work with them in the edit.

Warp Stabilize is pretty much the only time I do this routine. Just simpler in the long run for me.

    System:
    Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
    Win 7 64-bit
    32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2015.02 (as of 6/2016)
    256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
