nested veg opens in old version
I nested a veg done in vegas 11 into a new project but when I want to edit it it keeps opening in vegas 10 and giving me an error (veg10 cannot open the file made in newer version). Original veg file opens in ver.11 with no problem.

If you open a VEG file by double-clicking it in Explorer, does it open in the new Vegas or old?
If it opens on Vegas 10, then the system is associating VEG files with your old installation and you need to update the file association.
Try activating the “Check project file type associations…” option in Vegas 11 preferences if it isn’t already active, then restart Vegas. If that doesn’t help, you might need to manually change the file type association. How you do this depends on which version of Windows you’re running.

I had the same issue. The only way to solve it was by uninstalling VP10 and VP11 then reinstalling VP10 and VP11 (in this sequence). -
In Explorer the project opens correctly in Vegas 11. Only when is nested it tries to open Vegas 10. A little icon in explorer shows that it is associated with Vegas 11.
