    Hi there,

I’ve nested a comp two times and it always becomes blurry in my main comp. I’ve already tried the button next right to the shy-button (I guess it’s “fold layers” in the english-Version) and it makes the problem a little bit better – but unfortunately the motion tracking for my comp gets lost, better to say: becomes weird.

Don’t know what I did wrong. Any help is appreciated…

Do you have the preserve resolution of nested comps box checked in the advanced tab of Composition Settings?

    That’s burned me before.

Yes – but that doesn’t have any effect on the problem. Maybe I should try again.

Are you using a 3D camera? If so, Depth of Field could be the criminal. I know that’s happened to me before.

I had a nested comp that I moved in 3D space and could not for the life of me figure out why it was blurry, turns out the Focus Distance on the Camera was set farther back than the video screen was in Z space so it blurred.

    Hi,

no – there is no 3D-Camera. Just some lights I set in the room.
