NEO Scene Trial Uninstall deletes Vegas codec
While testing NEO Scene v1.60 Build 140, the trial time expired and I removed it. After this I found that the Cineform codec that is included in Sony Vegas 7 is missing.
How do I recover Vegas’ Cineform codec?
Is there a way to avoid re-installing Vegas?Thanks!

You probably have had Vegas 7 for quite awhile. You should be able to recover the codec from your last system backup.

System restore is risky as I’ve recently swapped motherboards.
Cineform recommended Vegas re-install and it works properly now. grrr…
On a good note NEO Scene ran over 2x faster on a i5 quad compared to my old Core2Duo. -
My backup software, Norton Ghost, can restore things on a file by file basis. You don’t need to restore the entire system.
