Need your expert know how on this “bloody effect” ;)
Hi everybody,
I m trying to finish an end title for a horror short movie, and I’ll like to do the transition a litlle bit like the end title of dawn of the dead.
With that blood explosion or fluid segment.

It looks like that they use a kind of mask + somthing !???..? what is that something 😉

Looks to be a displacement map followed by a blur and than ajust the levels to get one BLOB of blood.

Yeah probably so that means that they use another layer of blood to displace the text…Thnks I’ll try something like that

Yep, animate a noise + mask to get the displacement map you need.
White on the outside, black in the middle.
