  • need to remove XMP metadata

Basically catdv can’t handle too much meta data, and we have some files that have exported from premiere pro, and they have pages of metadata embeded, viewable in adobe bridge, under the ‘raw’ tab. I know this is more of an adobe question, but it’s also a mac question as i need to remove this metadata on a mac, to get the files to work in catdv. what a headache.

any help would be much appreciated.

    thanks

The easiest way to deal with this is to re-export the files using Adobe Media Encoder and via one of the wing menus de-select ‘include XMP Source Data’

    I hope this helps,
    Dennis
