Need to export faster
Hello,
I just bought the newest MacBook Pro last december. It has a 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor and 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3 memory. What do I need to do to be able to export videos from Final Cut Pro faster? Whenever I export a high quality video longer than 10 minutes, it takes several hours. Help!

What format video are you using?
What type of hard drives are you using?There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.

Which export method are you using? Are you exporting a direct Quicktime Movie, or using Quicktime Conversion or Export w/ Compressor?? That will also make a difference… the latter 2 will be much slower.
