I’m working on a clip that shows a figure falling into the water. She is lit properly, as are the bubbles made in the water by her fall. The background, however, is too light. It’s blue and it needs to be almost black. Anyone help me with some ideas on how to make it dark(er)?

    Thanks,

    K

Color Correct 3-way using its mask function comes to mind.

There is a lot of movement in the shot – she’s falling into the water and descending, then coming back up again. I’ll see if I can get something up for you to look at.

    Thanks!

Ok movement in the shot – but is there also camera movement?

No – no camera movement. Just her. Thanks.
