need some expert advise
hi…i need to do a glow one a moving light trail…the clients wants a dark blue glow…the background is shades of grey colour…i tried and could not make the dark blue glow visible when i use additive blending option…if i use normal blend mode the dark blue is apparent but it looks like a shadow…so i tell the client maybe choose a lighter blue which works…keeping in mind thet the light trail is white in colour as light should be…can i get some help on weather this can be done to look realistic?…maybe im thinking too hard and cannot see the simple solution infront of me…lol…any help is appreciated…thanks…kuaishou

Maybe the dark blue needs to have white or light blue edges to separate it from the background?

no yur absoultely right dave…i tried to explain it to the client exactly what u said…it was the clients notion…lol…after 2 days of explaining and showing it to the clients and time wasting he finally got it…thanks for yur advise guys…i just wanted to make sure i was doing the right thing and not unintentionally taking the client for a ride…cheers all…
