Does anyone have any suggestions of good reference material for learning how to match cameras using waveforms, oscilliscopes, and chip charts?

    Thanks in advance.

Hire an engineer. They might be a little pricey, but you’ll get more than you would from a couple of stuffy engineering bookes avalilable at NAB.org…

Find one at a local TV station (watch the channel first – you’ll see if they’re any good), a rental house or a broadcast repair shop…

I third that suggestion. I learned from an engineer that gave everything a personality and made it so easy to understand. I learned to never set up and match cameras to a monitor. I do all my color correction to scopes. Once you learn, it makes so much sense you will never want to go back.
