    Hi,

I need professional help with encoding a difficult video clip to Flash.
I’ve got lots of action and camera movement, and want to deliver a fairly large size video (512×288 @ 25fps x 5min) for broadband users at 512k.

If you compress for a living, or at least are very knowledgeable about the finer details, please send an email to

    assisteditor at yahoo dot com

I can pay a reasonable amount for the right person !

    Thank you…

Couple things that can help….first reduce your frame rate maybe to 12 or so. Then crop the image a bit…cut off most of that action safe area. This will give you more of the primary part of the frame in the final encode. Deiinterlace. Compress your audio with AMA Narrowband or ALaw 2:1. I always use 44.1 khz and keep my bitrate low. The dimensions of your frame is pretty big and most 512k users might find it is chunking along.

Go to http://www.tiltmedia.com and look at the portfolio page. Most of those clips are about 4 megs and should play pretty well. Try it.

    That’s all I have.
