Need PAL ProRes HQ Quicktime 16:9 from NTSC
I don’t have Cinema Tools or Compressor. But I read previous posts that Cinema Tools changes 23.976 to 25fps very quickly, so wanted to post here to see if I can use the same advice with Media Encoder or Premiere CC. I will repost in Premiere forum if you wish.
My issue: I need a PAL ProRes HQ Quicktime 16:9 out of my NTSC 1:26:20/23.976 doc for PAL broadcast.
I tested a 6 minute section by exporting an MOV to ProRes HD 1080p 25 in Premiere. It was a very fast export and I don’t see quality loss or out of sync audio. Will the sync get progressively worse in an hour and a half doc? There aren’t ProRes HD Ntsc or Pal settings, only SD. Will the ProRes HD 1080p 25 file work for them?
Thank you!
