Need help with HD editing in FCP. Cant capture Video. Only audio getting captured.
Hi all,
This is first time i am doing an HD edit in FCP. I have an FCP 5.0 and i shot the footage using the Sony HDV HVR-Z1P camera.
I have a Blackmagic card.
My Audio/Video Settings are:
Sequence Preset : HDV 1080i50
Capture preset : HDV
Device Prestes : HDV firewire
Video playback :Blackmagic PAL 8 bit (720×576)
Audi playback : Deckling audioThe problem is when i capture with the settings above i only manage to get the audio captured and no video??? Why is this happening? pls help me out so that i can start with the edit. Does it have to with the FCP version i have?
Do i need to have FCP 5.0 HD to do this edit?
I am waiting eagerly for somebody to troubleshoot this problem.regards,
