Need help with blanket transitions
Is there a way to:
1) automatically insert transitions project-wide?
2) make these transitions random?

Yes. Use a script. Excalibur and Ultimate S can both handle this easily. You do need a Pro version of Vegas for scripts, though (i.e. not a “Movie Studio” version).
