  Need help picking the right effect(s)

  Hello everyone 🙂

  I’m recording some karaoke versions of McCartney’s Yesterday, and it’s all well mixing the vocals with the backing track in Multitrack View, but the mix doesn’t sound quite right, and I wanted to add an effect that would make the karaoke version sound a bit closer to how McCartney’s voice in the original has been recorded. Does anyone have any suggestion what effect(s) I should add to the voice track in order to achieve this? So far I used Echo Chamber with the Cigar Box preset, which makes the voice sound a bit more “studio-like”, but I’m sure there are much better (extra) effect choices to make.

  PS: I’m wondering whether looking at one of the Spectral Displays can help suggest to one the right effects to choose..
