November 11, 2007 at 12:33 pmDid you uninstall the previous drivers before installing 6.6.1? Remember that you lose all your settings so check the control panel and reset all you FCP settings. I have just installed and it works perfectly.

November 11, 2007 at 2:57 pmI did “clean” instal of Leopard. After installing FCS, everything is fine. But after DeckLink 6.6.1 codec, it don’t work…………….. there is the message “Final Cut Pro recommends that youe system have a Quartz Extreme capable video card”

November 12, 2007 at 9:08 pmIs this FSC 1 or 2? Also, do you have video desktop enabled in system preferences? I’m wondering if your DL card is your “unsupported” video card.
I followed the same process as you (with FCS2) and my system is just peachy, so I’m just trying to eliminate a couple of possibilities.

November 13, 2007 at 1:05 amThe same – FCS didn’t load… I try today DeckLink Extreme (not DeckLink HD Extreme) – the same…. AAE starts perfectly, FCS, Color – no….

November 13, 2007 at 2:34 pmDo either of you have anything else installed on our machine besides the OS, FCS, Adobe Apps (video apps don’t work under Leopard right now… PS and Illustrator are fine), DeckLink driver, and maybe some misc. drag ‘n drop software?
My system is a Mac Pro with Leopard, FCS2, with Decklink driver 6.6 and it’s been working like gangbusters. Is it luck of the draw, or are your setups different? Did either of you use the migration assistant to bring over old files and settings after installing Leopard? That killed mine and I had to reinstall Leopard and FCS.

November 16, 2007 at 9:57 pmHi!
We just got a Mac Pro Quad with Nvidia Quadro Fx 4500. Brand new Leopard install form the drop in DVD. FCS2 install worked fine. Multibridge Pro was taken into slot 4, and the system mixed up the video card with the Decklink. Final Cut gave the message that we need to use a Quartz Extreme capable video card. Multibridge Pro only works in slot4, but the same message is given in all the time we put the Decklink card into the right slot.
Do you have any idea?
Thx!
