    I’ve posted this previously but nobody seems to know the answer.

    FCP5 footage is out of sync in timeline but plays just fine in preview window.

    Shot on DVX 200a in 24pA mode. Digitized CAPTURE NOW with 2:3 3:2 pulldown. Using external 1tb drive.

    Any reasons my timeline footage goes out of synch with audio? And the synch varies from clip to clip. Some are off by 6 frames while others are off by up to 24 frames.

    What is your timeline set up as? How are you monitoring the output?

    Thanks for asking, but I solved the problem. Thankfully it was a simple sequence setting. The audio setting was at 48 kHz, but when I changed the timeline sequence to 44 kHz the problem was solved.
