Need help converting animation file to MPEG 2 for DVD
Greetings,
I’m having trouble with an animation that was sent to me.
It was provided in animation codec, square pixels, 720 x 480.
When I convert it to NTSC, MPEG 2, it looks bad and squished.
I understand the square pixel to rectangular pixel issue, and the animator provided me with another file that looks good in the timeline (NTSC) but still encodes ugly.
Can anybody give me any hints for the best procedure for doing this?
Do I need to bring the animation into After Effects and do something there?
Should I convert to a different codec before going to Compressor?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
