    Hello,

I am editing with CS3. How do you get the effect where the video clip looks like it is in a frame with the animation around it? Do I need to create the animation in AE and then in Premier add a reduced-sized video on another track below the animated track?

And how do you add several reduced-in-size video clips to the screen and have them all stay there? It is like making a collage. I tried using PIP but that didn’t work. The images fly off the screen. I want the video clips to fly on to the screen and remain their until the whole screen is full.

Is there a website where I can find out how to create these effects?

Thank you in advance for your response.

You simply need to scale the clips down. In the efects panel, use the motion settings.

you need to animate the scaled down clips position to have them enter the frame, then don’t add anymore animation keyframes. they will stay in the position last keyframed.
