    hi there..

    i need to know, how to use motion blur button, i made a mask, and give it a animation using shape key frame, and then clicked on motion blur button on layer.. but its not showing any blur effects… i dont know where i m going wrong.. please guid me, how to use blur effect using that blur button..

    first, motion blur is not an effect, technically.

    to ram-preview your motion blur, you not only need to have the motion blur switch checked as well as the master motion blur button (The big M at the top of your timeline)

    then you should be able to see your mask shape animation with motion blur

    Your mask points need to move quickly enough over a great enough distance to generate the blur. Also, try increasing the shutter angle in the comp settings, maybe to 720 degrees.

    You can confirm some of this in the manual. 🙂
