Need Help
I work at a post house in nyc. I’m using FCP Studio 2. I have a client who edits on FCP 6 at home. He brings his project to me and I fine tune his edit. We’ve been doing this for 2 years but since we upgraded our systems we are always having trouble with a small handful of scenes and speed changes changing. The scenes are correct but different parts of them are showing up in the edit. It’s like we have a virus that we keep giving each other every time I use his external drive to work with. It mess’s up my edits too. I have his project on my system also.
Is this a Ver 6 glitch? I hope you can help.

oh yes. FCP 6 has MASSIVE problems in that area. No known workarounds for me… I just try to avoid it.
