Need Fire Wire Patch For Mac OS9. Help.
I had to re-instal Premiere 5.1c on my Mac G4. I remember when this first came out you needed a fire wire patch from the Adobe site in order to load video from the Macs built in firewire. I don’t have that patch any more so Premiere will not recognize any DV deck or camera.
It talks about this patch on the Adobe site but when you click the link for it it is not one of the options. I have the firewire 1.3 update so that I can control the DV device, but it won’t work without the firewire patch.
Any one know where I can get the firewire patch? On the Adobe site or elsewhere?
This is what it says on the Adobe site, when you hit the hot link for “plug in” it’s not there.
This is the page I’m looking at on their site.
