[Joseph M. Morgan] “I still don’t see how the selection thing works… are we actually talking about a selection object, or a null?”

Selection Object allows you to put a list of items into it and it’s only function is to select all those items in the list at the same time to save you having to do it one by one.

Thanks… I figured it out about 10 seconds after my last post to you. Funny how the simplest things are the most difficult to figure out.

I had actually played with it in the early stages of me trying to figure out a solution… but gave up quickly because I didn’t know to punch the little button. 🙂

Actually… right now, once I figured out how to use the selection object, it is the way I’m doing it… however, later… I’m thinking I want to use XPresso.

However, let me ask… is there a way to do what I do in After Effects (I think I’ve seen your name there)? That is, in AE, I can put arbitrary controls (sliders, etc) on something and then connect properties (or property expressions) to it. I was hoping for something more like that… that is… something more like a dimmer switch, on-off switch, etc.

Yes, you can do that with Xpresso.
