Need Definitive Answer to Fix FCP7 Upgrade Issue
Hi,
I upgraded to FCP7. Now every time I make an edit every clip in the timeline changes its name to the most recently edited clip.Various people have suggested various things. Ranging from trashing the preferences to doing a total clean install of everything on my machine. So, what is the solution? I have tried the preferences etc and it makes no difference.I have upgraded to FCP 7.0.3 and it makes no difference. I have removed all the still frames and it makes no difference.
Does anyone have a definitive answer? Is the clean install of everything the fix? Or is that just another day of my time? :>)

OK, you updated to 7.0.3…now make a NEW project. Bring all the clips over, and try again. Your project might be corrupt.
