Ok before you ask, yes I did search around for suggestions.

I hope to create a loopable QT slideshow of photos which will have pan and scan and dissolves between images.

With FCP, I was obv never able to add a transition to the last clip. I suppose I could just duplicate the first frame and line up the transition point (manually, which would be a pain because of pan and scan)

Wondering if anyone has already done this / has a sugg ?

To create a loop simply have the start and end image be the same.

Add your beginning clip to the end of your timeline. Make sure you apply exactly the same pan and scan treatment as your first clip.

Take the total number of frames in your clip and divide by 2. Move the In point of your timeline to the right by that number of frames. Move the Out point of your timeline to the left by that number of frames.

    Loop.

If you have any jitter at your loop point, move your Out point 1 frame to the right. Jitter worse? Move it left 2 frames.
