Need comp frame rates to stay different in final comp
Hello. I have done it before, I just cannot remember how. There are dancers at 24fps and music at 30. But they sync up exactly how I want them to when I play them at these frame rates, in different media player windows.
When either is adjusted to fit the other, it throws it all off.
How can I keep them at these rates and render together? I know I can just combine them with other software and it will be fine, but I have to have some fx react to the audio
I turned on the “preserve frame rate when nested” option on both comps but the audio comp still plays at the higher frame rate when I drop it into the main comp…. ????? Super frustrating

I had done what you suggest, initially, and it just wasn’t working. It is an mp3, however, so I am going to attempt it with a wave, now, thanks

Audio files don’t have frames so there is no frame rate to speak of. Audio should play back at the same rate no matter what the frame rate of the composition is.
