  Need assistance for displaying Anamorphic footage on my external reference monitor – Mac

  I am having a hard time setting up my external monitor to preview anamorphic footage. It’s been working ok with other footage. I am not sure if its the Sequence Video Preview settings or something else. Playback is currently set to Blackmagic Playback, “center” for output of unsupported files. Tried “Scale to Fit” and that didn’t make a difference. Specs are listed below. Thanks!

  Frame Size: 3792×3160
  Pixel Aspect Ratio: Anamorphic 2:1 (2.0)
  Progressive
  23.976

  System details:

  Mac Pro mid 2012 5,1
  2.4ghz 12 core
  20gb ram
  Internal 3 drive 15tb raid for media
  Internal 1tb single drive for system and software
  ATI Radeon HD 5770
  NVIDIA Quadro 4000
  Decklink HD Extreme 3D+
  USB 3.0 4 slot Controller card
  Reference Monitor is an HD (1920×1080) Samsung TV, Connection goes from decklink HD SDI out to blackmagic HD SDI to HDMI converter, to TV via HDMI.
