    Hi all

I’m using Premiere 6.5 and a Targa 3000 with an analogue BOB for quite a while.
The system also gives me framebuffer YUV video with Combustion 3.
    So far so good! But…
After installing C4 a lot of undesirable effects start to hapenning.

I decided to move forward to Premiere Pro and a new I/O board.

    Right now I get:
    – 4 streams of YUV video on Premiere6.5 with real-time playback
    – real time MPEG2 encoding with Targa MPEG Works (quite good quality of encoded material)
    – framebuffer on Combustion3 (vvveeerrryyy ssslllooowwwwwwwww, but works)

I’m thinking in a bluefish444 board. Probably I’ll loose the MPEG real-time encoding, but I’ll go to Cinemacraft for that.
    I get a better I/O and a decent framebufer on C3.

What about the number of video streams on Premiere?

Any advice on this future move?

In a near future I’ll work with HDV. (HDCAM is out of my landscape…)
Do you feel this is a good option?

    Any help is very welcome.

    Carlos
