  Need Advice RE: Laptop For LIve Streaming Video

  I have landed a chance to moderate and stream a live political event and will be using one Canon GL2 and two webcameras (logitech 9000 and logitech ultravision) running through Vidblaster as my video controller. I have run into some issues in the past with multiple cameras using up to much of my CPU resources in this configuration and don’t want to lose or stutter the stream.

  Any suggestions on a laptop which would handle the load. It will need a 4 pin firewire and multiple USB ports.
